How do keyword tags work? ▼
Keyword tags control what searches surface your listing. We maintain a curated list — you pick from it, you don't type your own. This prevents businesses from loading up on unrelated keywords to game results. Local and event listings get up to 3 tags; online merchants get up to 5. A plumber picks "Plumber" — they don't also get to claim "Pizza" and "Dog Park."
What is domain verification for online merchants? ▼
To prevent people listing on domains they don't own, we require a one-time verification step. After signup you'll receive a unique HTML meta tag. Paste it into your site's homepage, then click Verify in your dashboard. Takes about 2 minutes. If you use WordPress or Wix, we have step-by-step guides. We re-check ownership periodically — if the tag is removed your listing pauses until it's restored.
Can I cancel or change my plan? ▼
Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled any time from your seller dashboard — no penalty, no runaround. Your listing stays active until the end of the billing period. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time; changes take effect immediately. Time-limited Sale/Event listings are flat-fee — once the run starts, no refund, but you can buy another run at any time.
Why do some listings get suspended? ▼
We review new listings before or shortly after they go live. Listings that misrepresent their business, use prohibited content, or fail domain/address verification are suspended. If your listing is suspended you'll receive an email explaining why. Refunds are not issued for policy violations — so please review our Terms of Service before listing.
What is a Business Card listing? ▼
If you have no website and just want a basic online presence, the Business Card listing is for you. Upload a photo of your existing physical business card and we list it exactly as-is — or fill in our short form and we'll generate a clean digital card. It's ideal for sole traders, notaries, independent contractors, and anyone who doesn't need a website but wants to be findable locally.
How does pricing work for food trucks and touring events? ▼
Food trucks subscribe as Local Business and update their location daily from their seller dashboard. Their card shows a "Live Today" badge when they've checked in. Touring events can either buy a flat-fee Sale/Event run at each stop, or subscribe as Local Business and update location as they move — whichever makes more economic sense for their schedule.
